Hi everybody; I hope everyone's doing well. Quick update of the last 20 years:
I graduated from ECU in 1991, later from Auburn Univ. Montgomery, and then from the Univ. of Arkansas. I've been an Air Force communications/computer systems officer for 13 years (currently a major) and have been stationed in Alabama, northern California, Korea, Germany, and now the Florida panhandle. This summer my family and I will move again, this time to a 1-year assignment at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, where I'll be a student at the Air Force's Air Command and Staff College. I've been married since 1993 to Suzanne (formerly Gibbs), Apex HS Class of 1990. We have two wonderful sons--one is 9 years old and the other just turned 1 1/2. I still enjoy flying, when my schedule allows.

Had a wonderful time at the 20th reunion in 2007 and I'm looking forward seeing everyone again the 25th reunion this year. The biggest news for me since the 20th reunion is that I married my wife Francesca on January 8, 2011. Still working for The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. |

I guess that this is where we brag about what we have done for the past 20 years. After school, I spent a lenghty career in the adult film industry. No I was not an actor or a "squegee boy" on the set. Lets just say that I supported them with my video rentals. I have done numerous stints at rehab. They really do not support me there. They frown on you brown bagging at the meetings. I think I will call the ACLU and file a lawsuit. I am still in therapy after that whole White House incident with Bill. I still feel so dirty. I hope that Bill gave that cigar to Vicente Fox. A few years ago I started a career as an amateur chemist. Things were going great until the Johnston County Sheriffs Department raided the trailer park. It seems that they do not support the sciences. I have now learned that the hot is on the left side of the sink. Let's see how many of you get that one. I hope to be making it to the reunion. I am up for parole in May. My cellmate, (husband) is sad. He seems to think they will let me out. I wonder if I have to register with the Wake County Sheriff's Department. I was only accussed of that one, not convicted. Also, I need to know if anyone attending has a restraining order against me. If so, I will not be able to ask you to dance. I look forward to seeing a few of you, okay, most of you. Hey, does anyone have any ruffies?

Things haven't turned out quite the way I expected but I do have things I am thankful for which I wouldn't have otherwise. When I was in school I was very much a wallflower. Now I know if you want something you have to ask for it and have the drive to obtain it. I've spent some time partying, some time paintballing, Some time being a mommy. A lot of things have happened and and are still happening and that makes me happy. Can't wait til the big event to see everyone. |

I moved Baltimore after graduating from Carolina in 1991 and lived there until 2007, when we moved to Pittsburgh. As a young adult, I worked as a newspaper reporter. Then I spent eight years in graduate school, teaching undergraduates, and working in administration in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. For the last 10 years, I have been a stay-at-home mom. My husband Michael and I have three children: Ruby (11), Everett (10) and Eva (18 mos.). The last year and a half has had great ups and downs with a new baby (at age 41!) and with the death of my father, Gary Gammill, from cancer. I have been really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Our 20th was so much fun!

I am looking forward to meeting up with plenty of old friends.
Oddly enough I don't have any pictures of me from Cary High, so I have uploaded a picture of me in Korea in early 1989.
The current picture, is from my last snowboard trip over spring break 2006 with my oldest daughter, after she broke her arm snowboarding.

Hey everyone, its exciting to see such a nice web site set up for the reunion.
As stated, I am married (to David Goodman, class of 1986) and have 2 children. Both girls 7 1/2 and 1 1/2. We live in New Hill which is just past Apex toward Jordan Lake. I am a floral designer and have my own business "LuLu's Lilies" which I do flowers for wedding and special events, other than that I stay at home and run after my little one. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. We recently went to David's 20th reunion and it was a blast! Its hard to believe its already been 20 years. Time flys!

Hello class of 87'. Sorry I will miss the reunion this time, see everyone in 10 more years. Here is my update: Graduated from ASU in 91' with a degree in Economics, moved to MD for work and met my wife on a blind date. We celebrate our 12 year anniversary on June 24. We have two children, Jacob(8) and Emma(5), both very active children. My wife, Allison, is a 3rd grade school teacher and I teach Middle School Blood, Guts and Violence...History. Earned my Masters of Education from Loyola in 98'. For those who know me the best, it may come as a surprise that I am a teacher considering my less than stellar high school career. Yes, I did grow up and get serious about education. Have a great time at the reunion.

Wow, 20 yrs. has flown by. Let's see where to begin, after UNC-W I went to work at the Topsail Beach Police Dept. from 1990 to 1993, then moved to Reidsville, just north of Greensboro to take a job with the Reidsville Police Dept., worked as an Investigator for 4 years before switching over to the Fire Department in 1997. I married my wonderful wife Kristi in 1995, we have 2 children, our daughter Tamara who is 15 and our son John who is 7. Now before you do the math and see that I have been married 11 yrs. and have a daughter that is 15,let me give you a little history- both of our children were adopted from the Vladimer region of Russia. Our daughter 5 years ago and our son 2 years ago. Kristi works as a EC teacher/administrator for the Rockingham County Schools and I also do some teaching for fire investigation, even got to go to the ATF Academy and London England. I still work part time for the Police Dept. from time to time. I had a reality check last month when my daughter got her learners permit, am I that old? I am looking forward to seeing everyone and see if they got as old as I did.

I'm actually still Barbara Klein, after six years of marriage-Barbara Goodman is sort of like my alias. I'll get around to changing it one of these days. Don't have any then pictures--but there's not much difference on the outside--but lots of changes on the inside. I've gone from the uptight little Christian I used to be to a laid-back New Age Jewish hippie. Unforntunately, my work schedule won't allow me to make the reunion. Hope everyone is well and safe.

Hey everyone! Hola amigos... :)
I can't believe it's been twenty years!
I taught high school Spanish and ESL for 12 years in Lee and Harnett Counties and now work for the NC Department of Public Instruction as their ESL/Title III Consultant.
On April 2nd, I will begin with Wake County Schools as their Senior ESL Administrator in the central office on Wake Forest Road.
I've been married to Terry for 14 years in June, and we have one son who was a surprise miracle baby after many years of infertility! He was born 7-27-05 after I had worked all day - I left work at 3:00 and he was born at 7:50 at Rex Hospital - whew! His name is Blake.
Scott Ellis, Jennifer (DeHertogh) Sutherland, Robin (Bullion) Nipper, and my hubby and I all plan on coming to the reunion! I'm still waiting to hear back from Caitrin (Gupton) Radcliffe, Andrea (Miller) Johnson, and Laura (Olson) Parker.
Can't wait to see everyone!

Hello .....Wow, I cant believe its been 25 years. You guys are getting old !! So nice of you to stop by and read my profile. Ive had a lot going on in 25 years. So much that it would take me all day to write about it. I hardly see anyone from the Class of '87 - not even my step- sister (Rhonda White). I have spoken with A few people from 1987, but not many. Anyway....Ive loved every day that God has allowed me to be alive. I am truly blessed. No children, no husband and life is grand :) . After graduating from college and working some in Wake County, I landed a job in Guilford County. I live in Greensboro. Ive been here about 18 years - never thought I would end up here. Its a city that is still growing and Im growing right along with it. I visit my parents from time to time. They live in Holly Springs. I hardly recoginze the city when I come home. Soooo many changes. Please feel free to check me out sometimes. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Best wishes to you ! |
